New to off-roading or just picked up your first 4x4?You’re in the right place. Off Road U is designed specifically for beginners who want to learn the right way—from understanding your rig to confidently navigating real terrain. Whether you’re driving a Jeep, Bronco, Tacoma, Gladiator, or any modern 4x4, this program gives you the skills, safety knowledge, and confidence to explore off-road with ease.
Our first class, Off Road Ready, is all about the fundamentals. You’ll get hands-on with your own vehicle as our instructors teach you how 4WD modes work, when to use lockers or traction control, how to air down properly, and how to identify your tow points and recovery gear. We’ll walk you through a full pre-trail safety inspection, basic recovery principles, and the essential trail etiquette every off-roader should know before leaving pavement.
Once you’ve got the basics down, Off Road U Live takes you out onto an actual trail to apply what you learned in a low-pressure, beginner-friendly environment. You’ll practice line selection, throttle control, climbing and descending, navigating off-camber terrain, and using your vehicle’s features in real time—all with the guidance of experienced instructors who are there to coach, answer questions, and make the experience fun and comfortable.
Off Road U is the perfect first step for anyone wanting to get into off-roading with confidence. Whether you’re preparing for your first organized trail ride, joining friends on weekend adventures, or simply wanting to use your 4x4 to its full potential, we’ll help you build the foundation you need for safe, responsible, and exciting off-road exploration. Join us and discover what your vehicle—and you—can really do.
