RockJock | JL (Heavy) Antirock Rear Sway Bar Kit (forged arms, 1 1/8 in. bar)
RockJock Antirock® Sway Bar SystemsMaximum Off-Road Control Without Disconnecting Your Sway BarMore suspension articulation isn't always better. What matters is keeping your tires planted, your suspension working, and your vehicle under control. RockJock's Antirock® sway bar systems are designed around that principle, providing the freedom your suspension needs to navigate challenging terrain while maintaining resistance to body roll.Unlike factory sway bars that are often disconnected for serious off-roading, the Antirock is designed to remain connected both on and off the trail. Its specially engineered torsion bar allows greater suspension movement than a typical connected factory sway bar while helping control the excessive body lean that can occur when sway bars are completely disconnected. The result is a more balanced, predictable suspension that works with the terrain rather than fighting against it.
Why Body Roll Matters Off-RoadWhen navigating steep sidehills, off-camber obstacles, and uneven terrain, suspension articulation is only part of the equation.
With a disconnected sway bar, the suspension can articulate freely, but the vehicle's body can also lean farther downhill. As the body rolls, the vehicle's center of gravity shifts toward the downhill tires, potentially increasing the risk of a rollover. In extreme situations, the weight of the leaning body can contribute to pulling the entire vehicle over.
The Antirock helps manage this movement by providing controlled resistance between the left and right sides of the suspension. It allows the axles to articulate while resisting excessive chassis roll, helping the vehicle maintain a more predictable attitude through challenging obstacles.
The goal isn't simply maximum flex. It's usable articulation with control.
The Antirock® Advantage
No Disconnecting Required: Designed to remain connected on the highway, trail, and everywhere in between. No stopping to disconnect or reconnect sway bar links.
Controlled Articulation: Allows more suspension movement than a typical connected factory sway bar while maintaining resistance to body roll.
Improved Off-Road Stability: Helps resist excessive body lean on sidehills, off-camber obstacles, and uneven terrain, contributing to more predictable vehicle behavior.
Consistent Traction: Allows the suspension to follow uneven terrain while maintaining controlled resistance between the left and right sides.
Premium Construction: Features heat-treated 4130 chromoly steel torsion bars engineered for durability and consistent performance.
Proven Off-Road Design: Developed by RockJock for demanding recreational, rockcrawling, and competition applications.

The Best Off-Road Premier Product Advantage
RockJock Antirock sway bar systems qualify for the Best Off-Road Premier Product Program, our commitment to standing behind the products we recommend and install. When you purchase a qualifying Antirock system through Best Off-Road and have it professionally installed by our team, we provide an added level of protection beyond the manufacturer's warranty. If a qualifying component fails under the manufacturer's warranty, Best Off-Road covers the labor to replace it at no charge. It's our way of standing behind the products we trust and giving our customers confidence in their investment.
Why Choose Best Off-Road?At Best Off-Road, we believe a properly designed suspension should do more than articulate. It should provide traction, stability, and predictable performance when the terrain becomes difficult.
We offer RockJock Antirock sway bar systems along with professional installation and setup. Whether you're upgrading a daily-driven Jeep, improving a trail rig, or building a dedicated rockcrawler, our team can help you select the appropriate system for your vehicle and intended use.
Get the articulation you need, with the control you want.
Important: Antirock systems generally provide less roll stiffness than factory sway bars, which may result in increased body roll during on-road driving. Off-road stability depends on vehicle configuration, suspension geometry, center of gravity, and terrain. Antirock systems do not eliminate rollover risk. Always select and install the correct system for your application.
Kit Fits:
JL Wrangler Unlimited (4-door) – All ModelsJL Wrangler (2-door) – All Models
Kit Includes:Sway Bar Torsion Bar (1 1/8 in. diameter)Billet UHMW Frame BushingsForged Chromoly Sway Bar ArmsAdjustable Sway Bar End LinksAll Required Hardware
Notes:
Body Roll - This 1 1/8 in. bar Antirock sway bar kit, in most cases will provide an unloaded JL similar sway control to that of a factory sway bar.
End Links - Out of the box, the length of the sway bar’s vertical links that are included in this kit are intended for use with our suspension systems (3.5 in. lift). Depending upon your specific vehicle’s lift, you may obtain shorter or longer links to suit, here. Additionally, all of the link rods may also be trimmed in length for fine tuning purposes.
Fitment - It is quite common for factory frames to vary in width. If you find your vehicle's frame to be on the narrower side, the Antirock arms can simply be slid on until they are snug against the Antirock bushings and then the arms clamped down. However, on some frames the arms absolutely have to hold true width to clear bolt heads on the side of the frame, etc. In instances of this nature, see our CE-9901D-SP4 shim pack to assist in fine tuning.
