Unlike factory sway bars that are often disconnected for serious off-roading, the Antirock is designed to remain connected both on and off the trail. Its specially engineered torsion bar allows greater suspension movement than a typical connected factory sway bar while helping control the excessive body lean that can occur when sway bars are completely disconnected.
The result is a more balanced, predictable suspension that works with the terrain rather than fighting against it.
Why Body Roll Matters Off-Road
When navigating steep sidehills, off-camber obstacles, and uneven terrain, suspension articulation is only part of the equation.
With a disconnected sway bar, the suspension can articulate freely, but the vehicle's body can also lean farther downhill. As the body rolls, the vehicle's center of gravity shifts toward the downhill tires, potentially increasing the risk of a rollover. In extreme situations, the weight of the leaning body can contribute to pulling the entire vehicle over.
The Antirock helps manage this movement by providing controlled resistance between the left and right sides of the suspension. It allows the axles to articulate while resisting excessive chassis roll, helping the vehicle maintain a more predictable attitude through challenging obstacles.

Important: Antirock systems generally provide less roll stiffness than factory sway bars, which may result in increased body roll during on-road driving. Off-road stability depends on vehicle configuration, suspension geometry, center of gravity, and terrain. Antirock systems do not eliminate rollover risk.
